Eagles

The Pacific Northwest is a great place to play and to capture some great shots of Eagles. As stated earlier, I can't get enough of these majestic birds and when the early morning light is right its time to pack the gear and head out.
One of the places that I enjoy visiting is Boundary Bay, you never know what to expect. One day you may get all sorts of Eagles perched or riding the thermals and yet another day you maybe searching the shores for the odd Eagle.
Another place which I look forward to is the Eagle count in Squamish, BC in mid December. Although the travel time to Squamish from the Lower Mainland is a couple of hours, I find that once I get there, unpack the gear and hit the hot spots, its time to play. The trees are filled with Eagles keeping a watchful eye on the migrating salmon and there next meal.
I find that Squamish offers all photographer's a chance to work on there craft, whether your just starting out or just wanting to fine tune your technique, photographing Eagles in Squamish in mid December is wonderful.
